Clinical Advisor
Sofia Peters is a doctoral-level Board Certified Behavior Analyst and a Licensed Behavior Analyst in the State of Michigan. She received her MA and PhD in Behavior Analysis from Western Michigan University and completed the WMU Signature program in Teaching and Student Success. She is currently the Clinical Director of the Allegan, Michigan center at Acorn Health. Dr. Peters has implemented applied behavior analysis interventions in schools, homes, and clinic settings to support the independence, happiness, and success of children and adolescents diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. She also has experience with staff and parent training in those settings. Dr. Peters believes every child deserves access to quality academic and behavioral support services. Her other professional interests include mentoring new clinicians and using behavioral systems analysis to optimize organizational performance to ensure the best learner outcomes.
